G B SHAW'S FREEDOM

CRITICAL ANALYSIS
Para 1.
The narrative structure of the essay by Shaw is interactive in nature. The most significant feature is the constant imposition of a question and argumentative issue in the minds of the readers/listeners. ...... person does not and cannot exist. And this is because of the obvious reason of social and biological limitations imposed on us. There are compulsion of clothing towards satisfaction of the ego of physical shame and beautification. Eating and drinking on the other hand are unavoidable urges. These day-to-day tasks are inseparable and linked with our flesh and blood. These tasks have to be conducted irrespective of the following distinctions of either being rich or poor. A level of ironical similarity between the job-status of a billionaire and a pauper or the master and slave.

Natural jobs include other jobs which cannot be avoided along with jobs which can be avoided or shifted to other peoples. Fruits of human labour can either be exploited or stolen or appropriated by persons who know how to dictate over other people and how to befool others. ................... saints who preaches that salvation lies in serving other people, in suffering and in exploitation as well. All the ideals are ironically self-contradictory.
